Embroidery is the process of using high powered machines to sew a design into a garment.

After the custom made t shirt design is approved, the new art is digitized. This is the tedious process of turning the art into a file type that an embroidery machine can read.
Next, thread colors that correspond to the art are setup on the machine. The thread is pulled through the maze-like machine and the garments are hooped. In apparel embroidery services in Atlanta, hooping is the process of attaching the garment to a round hoop that keeps the clothing stable as the machine moves.
Embroidery is great for hats and flat goods like t-shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies, sweatpants, shorts, etc.
The file is chosen on the machine and the thread colors are assigned to the corresponding part of the design. Hooped garments are loaded onto the machine and the machine is started. It moves back and forth to sew the design.
Once the machine is done, the garments are un-hooped and cleaned up. Backing is trimmed and loose threads are cut off. The order is then packed for completion.
